This year I was invited to participate in California Real Estate Journal's Annual Multifamily Roundtable. As usual, they assembled a diverse group of regional and national multifamily experts to discuss the status of our multifamily investment market. We covered a lot of ground and everyone definitely did not agree on all points. Nonetheless, the consensus was that 2010 will require a "back to basics" approach in all facets of our various businesses.

In looking forward to 2010, I am positive that the best operators (investment companies, private investors, property managers, brokers, etc) will continue to emerge leaner, stronger and better positioned to benefit from the opportunities sure to manifest themselves in the coming years. Our mission is to utilize our 15 years of experience to ensure our clients have a competitive advantage in a rapidly changing marketplace.
